The will
If there is a will, we can use it to pre-populate everything — who you are, what needs notifying, who gets what.
What we will ask
- Who is named as executor (this might be you)
- Who the beneficiaries are and what they receive
- What assets are mentioned — bank accounts, property, investments, etc.
- Any other details like funeral wishes or guardianship
You do not need the exact wording. Summaries are fine. If you are not sure about something, skip it and come back later.
